About Us

Bed and breakfast is available all year at Uplands Guest House. With a 3 Diamond Rating from both the A.A. and the English Tourist Board and recommendation in the "Which" Bed & Breakfast Guide,  you can be assured of comfort, cleanliness and hospitality. An excellent English or Continental style breakfast is served in the large, sunny breakfast room and special diets can be catered for. Packed lunches are available on request and evening meals by prior arrangement.

The Breakfast Room can also be used by guests throughout the day and provides a comfortable seating area with T.V. videos, magazines, books and games. Also provided are Tourist information leaflets and posters on local events and attractions, together with maps and bus and train timetables. There is ample off street parking for guests arriving by car.

The well appointed bedrooms are mostly en-suite, with single, double and twin rooms available. All rooms have wash hand basins, tea/coffee making facilities, colour T.V. and clock radio. Children are welcome at Uplands, but we regret we cannot accommodate pets.
